Are the SIM card and memory card included in the price?
Yes. Every camera comes with a SIM card and a 128 GB microSD card. With Duo and Trio, each camera has its own.
Do I need an ongoing monthly subscription?
There's no mandatory subscription. The included SIM card comes with trial data. After that, the choice is yours: our data pack for €49/year (unlimited data, no subscription and no automatic renewal) or your own prepaid or data SIM from any of the major mobile networks in Ireland.
Does the camera work with Irish mobile networks?
Yes. The camera works with bill-pay plans from all major mobile networks in Ireland, as well as with their prepaid and data SIMs. It supports the 4G frequency bands B1, B3, B7 and B20, which are also used in Ireland. All you need is 4G coverage at the location. Disable the SIM card's PIN request before mounting.

Then the choice is yours: our data pack for €49/year (unlimited data, no subscription and no automatic renewal) or your own prepaid or data SIM – e.g. from any of the major mobile networks in Ireland.
How much data does the camera use?
Usage depends on the number of photos and videos and on how much you use live view. Videos and live view use the most data.
Is the solar panel enough in winter?
The 4 W solar panel supports charging of the 7,800 mAh battery. Dark winters, shade, cold and heavy use may make additional charging necessary. Continuous operation on solar power alone cannot be guaranteed in all conditions.
Can the camera withstand severe frost?
Yes. The operating temperature is −25 °C … +60 °C, and the housing is IP66-rated against rain, snow and dust. In severe frost the battery drains faster – so check the charge level in the app before longer cold spells.
Does the camera record at night?
Yes. The 940 nm infrared illumination enables black-and-white night recordings. During the day, recordings are in colour.
Where should the camera be mounted?
Choose your own land or a place you're allowed to film. Point the camera at the game trail, make sure there's 4G coverage and place the solar panel in a bright spot.
